Rough Stone is an extreme-texture skin, not a rigid stamp — a large flexible sheet that drapes over curves, corners, and irregular surfaces a hard stamp can't reach. Where a stamp presses a defined shape, a skin lets you texture continuously across a whole face with no seams to blend.

What Will My Finished Surface Look Like?

A rugged, porous rock face with heavy surface tooth — the pitted, weathered look of natural exposed stone. Because the skin flexes, the texture flows around form changes instead of stopping at a stamp edge, so nothing about the finish looks tiled. See the finished-project photos above.

Material

Polyurethane rubber, made in the USA. Flexible enough to conform to curves and vertical faces, tough enough to hold porous detail through repeated use.

Who Is This For?

Vertical concrete contractors and landscape curbers working on retaining walls, columns, fireplace surrounds, water features, and any surface where a rigid stamp leaves seams or can't make full contact.

How Deep Is the Texture?

Extreme — this is one of the most aggressive textures we make. The porous relief holds antiquing release strongly, which is what produces the deep, naturally aged look on vertical work.

Is It Difficult to Use?

No special training required, but skins run differently than stamps. Work your material to the right consistency, lay the skin on and press it in with your hand or a float rather than driving it like a stamp, and use plenty of release so it peels clean.

What Else Should I Buy?

Pair with CurbArt joint tools to carve individual stones into the textured face after skinning, plus color hardener and antiquing release. Most contractors run a skin for the field texture and a joint tool for the stonework layout.
